In order to create the active and convenient provision of postal services on Lunar New Year, Vietnam Post announced its plan to serve Tet holiday 2020 on the whole postal network.

With an increase in revenue of over 22%, profit of over 20%, application of information technology widely on all its business activities, Vietnam Postal was honored to be ranked first among top 500 largest businesses in Vietnam.

In the afternoon, 9 January 2020, at Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC Vietnam) headquarter, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung met Mrs. Takaichi Sanae -Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC Japan). On this occasion, MIC Vietnam and MIC Japan signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) in the field of information and communications and postal services. Attending the signing ceremony, Vietnamese participants also included Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan, officers from departments of MIC Vietnam and Vietnam Post. There were participants from Japanese side: Mr. Umeda Kunio, Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, officers from MIC Japan, Embassy of Japan to Vietnam.

At the Exhibition of 10-year New Rural Construction Achievements, organized by the Central Steering Committee of National Target Program during 18-19 October 2019 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam Post officially introduced its e-commerce floor OCOP.POSTMART.VN to all consumers. This nation-scaled e-commerce floor reserves for specific products in the national program: “One Commune, One Product” – OCOP.
