On 19 December 2019, Vietnam Prime Minister inaugurated the National Public Services Portal with the desire to create a "real, continuous, effective" electronic bridge between the Government and the people, businesses across the country. Currently, the Portal has more than 11,300 accounts, more than 9,300 records registered on 08 public service groups on this Portal. This Information was revealed by Minister, Chairman of Government Office Mr. Mai Tien Dung at the meeting with the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Vietnam Post and VNPT Group in order to promote the cooperation relations for the operation of this Public Service Portal.

In the context of the fierce competition of the postal market in 2020, to achieve its goals, Vietnam Post launched an emulation movement for all employees and workers in all network with the theme “Strong Transformation, Outstanding Development”.

On December 17, 2019, Chairman of Vietnam Post Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh had a meeting with the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia delegation headed by Mr. Vahram Kazhoyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Vietnam. Ms. Chu Thi Lan Huong, Executive Vice President and related divisions of Vietnam Post also participated in this meeting.

With sales increase by over 22%, the total profit increased above 20% compared to that of the previous year. In 2019, Vietnam Post has continued to maintain the sustainable growth speed on all 3 service groups: Postal delivery services, postal financial services and communications distribution. These figures have been announced at the annual meeting on 2020 Business Plan Implementation, held in the afternoon December 13, 2019.
