Vietnam Post actively engages in the development of Vietnam National Public Services Portal

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh, Member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Post, reported at the meeting that Vietnam Post implemented the direction of the Government Office to coordinate with other related units to develop and integrate the identification solutions, electronic authentication on the public service portal. Vietnam Post also built up the PostID authentication identity system. Through testing results, this system met basically all the requirements and with an effort to expand this system, Vietnam Post also conducted intensive training courses for its subsidiaries nationwide.
Vietnam Post will focus on creating accounts for individuals and businesses to access to the National Public Services Postal and to support them in self-registering on PostID first, then submit relevant documents and dossiers to Post Office for verification. In addition, Post Office staff also introduces and create accounts for customers on PostID system when they are using postal services at any post office.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh, to accelerate the number of users, Vietnam Post would support individuals and businesses, especially the people in rural areas, remote areas to access and submit relevant dossiers on this Portal at every post office. Also, Vietnam Post will collaborate to integrate Vmap, post codes on this Portal to create more convenient values to attract more individuals and businesses using public services on this Portal.
Now, Vietnam Post, Ministry of Home Affairs and National Administration Institution are cooperating to conduct human resources training and development to ensure post office staff and employees to have qualified certification and standards to provide the best quality of public services to the community.

Minister, Chairman of Government Office Mr. Mai Tien Dung reaffirmed that post office, especially commune culture points in rural and remote areas, would play an important role in providing public services in Vietnam and high appreciated the responsibility of Vietnam Post in coordination with related units to bring in benefits to all individuals, businesses, especially in administration reform in state organizations.
At present, National Public Services Portal is connecting with 04 ministries (Transportation, Finance, Commerce and Industry, Social Security) and 58 localities. In the future, VNPT Group will speed up the connection to provide public services level 3 and 4 on this Portal. Minister, Chairman of Government Office requested for the connection, payment verification, dossier delivery to addresses with the most convenient, high speed, saving time and money for individuals, businesses and at the same time, to ensure data security and safety on the whole system.
