On July 3, on behalf of Vietnam Post Lai Chau Post gave VND 200 million to the Permanent Rescue Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province to support the people affected by floods.

On 28th June 2018 in Hanoi, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Vietnam Post and Vietnam Disaster Management Authority. Accordingly, the two Administrations will strengthen the propaganda to guide people to actively implement the disaster prevention and consequences recovery after disaster via postal system.
