In the evening of 29th December 2017, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information & Communication held the Awarding Ceremony of Decision on appointing Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Member of the Board of Management, President & CEO, as Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post; appointing Mr. Chu Quang Hao, Executive Vice President as Member of the Board of Management. Attending the Ceremony were H.E. Mr. Truong Minh Tuan – Minister of the Ministry of Information & Communication, Mr. Pham Viet Thanh – Secretary of Central Businesses Bloc’s Party Committee and many Leaders, former Leaders of the Ministry of Information & Communication, Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group – VNPT.

After nearly 03 years of signing of Collective Labour Agreement, several regimes for labour have been improved higher than the previous years; labour’s income increased. Vietnam Post also introduced and upgraded many new regimes, policies on giving mind to improving the material and spiritual life of labour. Continuing to pay special concern about employees, on 28th December 2017, representatives of the Professional Leaders and the Corporation’s Trade Union resigned the Collective Labour Agreement with several amendments offering labour more benefits.

On 25th December 2017 in Hanoi, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Vietnam Post held the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between two Administrations in order to take full advantage of strength and effectively use resources to improve the effectiveness of performance of each side, at the same time bring back values, benefits for the society in general and for labour and Trade Union organizations in particular. Attending and witnessing at the Signing Ceremony was Mme. Truong Thi Mai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Vietnam, Head of Central Commision for Mass Mobilization.

The year 2017 was the second year implementing the 05 years working plan for the period of 2016 - 2020. Along with its implementation of solutions to enhance the business, striving for the fulfillment of business and production plan for the year 2017, Vietnam Post has focused its resources to deploy many new services, creating platform for the Corporation’s operation in 2017 and the following years.
