Vietnam Post offered preferential treatment for Trade Unionists, Trade Unions

Accordingly, Vietnam Post shall hold saling programs for Trade Unionists, labours, for instance, discount programs or offering preferential treatments for Trade Unionists (Trade Unionist card should be shown) when shopping at Vietnam Post’s transaction points or during Vietnam Post’s sale incentive programs. Incentive rate, sale off rate shall be applied appropriate to specific product and service such as: consumer goods, gifts; orders via E-commerce website badasa.com.vn, postal delivery service, Loc Hung Thinh life insurance… Vietnam Post shall also collaborate with workplace Trade Union to hold promotion programs, sale incentive programs for Trade Unionists, labours in industrial park, complex, export processing zone in the period of Festival/Holiday, Lunar New Year Holiday, May Day - International Holiday for Labours, Anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union on 28^th July, in the occasion of “Vietnamese people prioritize the use of Vietnamese products” campaign or even in salary payment period.

Besides the aobve mentioned preferential treatments, Vietnam Post shall also implement programs to improve the quality of physical, cultural and mental life for Trade Unionists and labours. In specific, newly open or transform, upgrade its transaction points in industrial park, complex, export processing zone to increase utility for Trade Unionists and labours. Trade Unionist who is preparing for start-up by developing the model of sale agency shall be assisted and receive support on source of supply and policy from Vietnam Post. Vietnam Post shall also collect feedback on policy, regime for labour via the system of postal transaction points across the country as well as post offices located in industrial park/complex, export processing zone and Trade Union institutions. Particularly, Vietnam Post shall collaborate with airlines and Vietnam Railway Corporation to sell ticket with several policies of preferential treatment at post offices located in industrial park/complex, export processing zone for Trade Unionists and labours who will be going back to their homeland in Lunar New Year Holiday.

Besides, Vietnam Post shall collaborate with Lien Viet Post Bank to survey and set up ATM case at Trade Union institutions or at the post offices located in industrial park/complex, export processing zone in order to serve the demand of withdrawing cash for Trade Unionists and labours with preferential rate. At the same time, it shall design and deploy incentive credit package just for Trade Unionists and labours; develop a chain of convenience stores in super market or at first floor of Trade Union institutions across the country in order to serve Trade Unionists and labours.

In order to implement to each Trade Unionist, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour shall instruct Labour Conferderations of cities, provinces, Trade Union at Central bodies and Corporation directly under its management to collaborate with related units of Vietnam Post to promptly deploy the contents defined by the Cooperation Agreement between two Administrations. At the same time, they shall select proper layouts at Trade Union institutions for Vietnam Post to deploy the chain of convenience stores intergrated with multi-services post office; support to newly open postal transaction points and approach the provision of delivery services, logistics for enterprises at industrial park and export processing zone.

According to Mr. Do Ngoc Binh, Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post, the organization of Trade Union currently has a very wide network with over 10 million Trade Unionists all over the country. The cooperation between Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and Vietnam Post is quiet special. It is because of the institutions and workplace Trade Unions shall become the core and prolonged arm of Vietnam Post’s network, at the same time become customers of Vietnam Post. With responsibility of a State enterprise, Vietnam Post shall always accompany with Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and labours throughout the country. Vietnam Post committed that it shall implement correctly the contents of cooperation agreed by two parties.

Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour said, implementing the guideline of placing labour at the center, in previous years, the General Federation has reformed its working method. The cooperation between two Administrations was also to implement the guideline of the Political Bureau on “Vietnamese people prioritize the use of Vietnamese products”. Through the cooperation program with Vietnam Post, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour called upon other enterprises to also direct to Trade Unionists.
