At the meeting, Chairman of Vietnam Post Nguyen Hai Thanh appreciated the cooperation of Hitachi to Vietnam Post in close relationship between two parties, especially in the progress of the implementation of existing projects. Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh expected Hitachi to continue support VNPost in other plans on SmartCity and social services innovation.
Mr. Higashihara Toshiaki congratulated Mr. Nguyen Hai Thanh on his new position appointment and reaffirmed that Hitachi would cooperated closely with Vietnam Post for the success of cooperation projects.
Also on December 4, 2019, at Vietnam Government Office and Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) headquarter, Hitachi delegation also had a courtesy call with Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and Deputy Minister Pham Anh Tuan. At the meetings, President and CEO Higashihara Toshiaki reported the expansion of E-money project, expected for new cooperation possibilities in the future and shared his readiness for further support in IT and communication to Vietnam businesses. Vietnam Government leaders expressed high appreciation to Hitachi projects in Vietnam and expected a stronger cooperation relationship between Hitachi and businesses in Vietnam in the future.
