Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assumed the post of Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post

 

Minister of MIC Truong Minh Tuan awarded Decision of appointment of Chairman of BoM to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan and Decision of appointment of Member of Bom to Mr. Chu Quang Hao

According to Decision No. 2386/QD-BTTTT dated 25th December 2017 of the Minister of the Ministry of Information & Communication, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Member of the Board of Management, President & CEO of Vietnam Post was termly appointed as Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post.

According to Decision No. 2388/QD-BTTTT dated 25th December 2017 of the Minister of the Ministry of Information & Communication, Mr. Chu Quang Hao, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Post was appointed as Member of the Board of Management.

Also at the Ceremony, the Central Businesses Bloc’s Party Committee also granted Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Post to assume the post of Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Post for the period of 2015-2020.

Speaking at the Ceremony, H.E. Minister of the Ministry of Information & Communication Truong Minh Tuan stated that, though difficulties remain, particularly at the time separating from VNPT Group, Vietnam Post’s staffs have always made hard effort with drastic solution to discover their own direction, bringing present-day outstanding results. Especially, Minister recognized that the Leaders and staffs of Vietnam Post are very keen and active.

Both Leaders appointed as Chairman of the Board of Management and Member of the Board of Management are young and core officers who are very active in postal sector.

The Minister was confident that with the effort of two newly appointed officers, they would meet the development requirements of Vietnam Post in the new situation, continued to promote the results achieved, together with the team of Leaders and more than 42,000 labours in Vietnam Post they would be united, strive for a greater contribution to the development of the Information & Communication sector, as well as of the country in the new era.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that together with the team of Leaders, Vietnam Post’s labour, they would be united as one, continued to drive Vietnam Post forwards a new height with the spirit of: Vietnam Post is the prolonged arm, a part of Government serving customers and people in order to deserve with the 73 years old tradition of the industry which is inherited by Vietnam Post.

With deep emotion about a special day, the day of transfering to the second generation of Leaders of Vietnam Post since it separated from Vietnam Posts & Telecommunication Group, the new Chairman of the Board of Management Pham Anh Tuan insisted on over 42,000 officers, workers of Vietnam Post immediately focusing on deploying tasks, targets at every unit right at the early of 2018, contributing to successfully fulfill the target set by the Corporation.

Excellently accomplished his tasks during these years, Mr. Do Ngoc Binh expressed his sincere thanks to the concern, support of the Leaders of the Ministry of Information & Communication, Central Businesses Bloc’s Party Committee, VNPT Group in several periods, business partners, clients, especially the support, close collaboration of professional Leaders, Trade Union, Youth Union and over 42,000 colleagues in Vietnam. Chairman Do Ngoc Binh congratulated the new Chairman of the Board of Management Pham Anh Tuan and Member of the Board of Management Chu Quang Hao on earning trust from the team of Leaders, officers and workers of Vietnam Post across the network. With new responsibility assigned by the Ministry of Information & Communication, Chairman Do Ngoc Binh expected that the two top Leaders of Vietnam Post would continue to contribute and drive Vietnam Post forwards grand and steady achievements.

At the Ceremony, Mr. Do Ngoc Binh, Chairman of the Board of Management signed the document of the hand over of assignments of the Chairman of the Board of Management and contents related to the work of the Secretary of Party Committee and other works to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, new Chairman of the Board of Management, Secretary of Party Committee of Vietnam Post.

- Mr. Pham Anh Tuan was born in 1973, graduated from (Hanoi) National Economics University and he is a Ph.D. in finance and banking. He is used to undertake the posts of Director General, Chairman of the Board of Post and Telecommunication Joint Stock Insurance Corporation; Executive Vice President, President & CEO of Vietnam Post.

From February 2011, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan was appointed as Executive Vice President of Vietnam Post. In September 2013, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan was appointed as President & CEO, Member of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post.

Throughout the development of Vietnam Post, together with the team of Leaders and labours in the entire Corporation, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan has drastically directed to implement solutions of enhancing the development and diversification of services, products under 03 pillars: Postal Delivery, Postal Finance and Distribution - Communication, in order to provide the most convenient services to each customer, making Vietnam Post to develop rapidly, sturdily and sustainably as people see today.

- Mr. Chu Quang Hao, born in 1976, graduated from Financial University, Master of Business Administration. Before appointed as Executive Vice President in April 2015, Mr. Chu Quang Hao is used to assume the posts of Director, Deputy Director of Nghe An Post for many years. Mr. Chu Quang Hao was appointed as Executive Vice President of Vietnam Post in April 2015.
