Unique stamp collection at the exhibition “The reunification day”

This event was organized by the Reservation of the cultural heritage complex of Thang Long-Hanoi with a view to review the historical tradition of the country and honor the historical value of the reunification day 30/4/1975.

 

The delegates cut the inauguration band at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang, Deputy Director of the Reservation of the cultural heritage complex of Thang Long-Hanoi said: “The exhibition “the reunification day” happened at the House and Tunnel D67, one of the important revolutionary relics. It was the military installation where the Politburo and the Central military party commission made the historical decisions, important policies and guidelines, directed the organization and implemented successfully the resistance war against American imperialists.

 

Veterans were touched deeply when they visited the exhibition.

The exhibition “the reunification day” introduced near 150 pictures, documents, objects expressing 2 main topics: the military installation on the victory day; the reunification day (repeating the atmosphere of Saigon and Hanoi capital on the historical day 30/4/1975.

 

Mr. Dinh Nhu Hanh, President of the Vietnam Postage Stamp Association said that the stamp collection “the reunification day” brought the unique artistic culture, creating an artful, historical, communicative  and deeply expressive exhibition

Especially, the Reservation of the cultural heritage complex cooperated with the Vietnam Stamp company., Ltd to introduce 48 stamp pages which are not only stamp sets commemorating the 30th April 1975 but also postage stamps bringing the meaning of propaganda, promoting the movement “Three responsibilities, three readiness” in the resistance war against American imperialist.

The stamp set “the reunification day” uses stamps to illustrate historical events of Vietnam in the period from 1945-1975, describing the heroic historical moments of the country.

“This is the stamp set with the unique cultural art, creating an artful, historical, communicative and deeply expressive exhibition” said Mr. Dinh Nhu Hanh, President of Vietnam Postage Stamp Association, Vice President of Vietnam Post Corporation.

 

The Stamp montage of President Ho Chi Minh attracted the special attention of veterans and visitors.

 

Students of the Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School cheered with the unique features of stamps.

 

Painting pictures in the forms of stamps on the theme of the 30th April 1975 was the interesting experience of the students.

The exhibition opened from 24th April 2018 to 30th May 2018.
