Vice Minister of MIC Japan worked with Vietnam Post
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Board of Management of Vietnam Post had a courtesy meeting with the delegation. Attending the meeting, there were also Mr. Dinh Nhu Hanh and Ms. Chu Thi Lan Huong, Executive Vice Presidents of Vietnam Post as well as representatives from functional Divisions and the Administrative Bureau.
At the meeting, the both sides exchanged and discussed the implementing process of the cooperation projects between Vietnam Post and Japanese partners as well as shared experiences on postal codes and the relating issues.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Minister Manabu SAKAI highly appreciated the cooperation relation between Vietnam Post and Japanese enterprises. The Vice Minister recognized the cooperation results since 2015 and confirmed that MIC Japan would continue to support cooperation activities between Vietnam Post and Japanese enterprises through consulting programs, sharing experiences in professional technique and training. He also emphasized that the both side should strengthen the cooperation in the field of payment, catch up with the trend of non-cash payment in the region and in the world.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of BOM of Vietnam Post thanked the MIC Japan, Japanese embassy for supporting cooperation activities between Vietnam Post and Japanese partners, especially in the implementation of the practical and effective projects enhancing the position of Vietnam Post in the recent years. Regarding to the plan of postal code application in operating and organizing at mail sorting centers, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan wished that experts of Japan Post and Japanese partners would continue to support and consult postal technology in the future.
In the framework of the program, Vice Minister Manaku SAKAI and the high level delegation of MIC Japan visited the Mail Sorting Center of Hanoi Post.
