Vietnam Post announces the updates of outbound postal services due to COVID-19 impacts

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic complexity, Vietnam Post, as the designated postal operator, is making effort to overcome this common difficulty period in the world to maintain its postal operation and business development with high service quality, especially for the outbound postal services in order to accompany with its customer to ensure the world connection. However, due to the global spreading of COVID-19 and its impacts to the people’s life, nations and industries, including postal sector, Vietnam Post is also facing many challenges. Vietnam Post informs customers the following updates in providing international postal services:

For outbound letter-post and parcel-post services: Vietnam Post keeps providing these services to main countries in Asia Pacific (China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore…), in Europe (Germany, France, Russia, Italy, the Netherlands…), in America (the U.S, Canada, Mexico…).

In order to prevent the spread of virus corona in the community, postal operators take new delivery methods to reduce direct contact among people, delivery bills with signatures are not used.

Many policies to tighten control social activities in several countries also affect delivery time of postal items. Therefore, Vietnam Post cannot ensure the time standards for outbound postal services to all countries and territories.
