Vietnam Post jumps into electronic social security market

In addition to other seven existing IVAN suppliers in Vietnam market, including VNPT, Vinaphone, TS24 company, Thai Son Company, EFY Vietnam, Company BKAV, Viettel and CMC Software Solutions Company, Vietnam Post is providing

VNPOST social security declaration service to help solving problems of users such as congestion, lack of support services.

All related social security documents of businesses submitted on this service network will be connected, no declaration forms and approval of social security agency are required. All declaration forms are submitted online and results are returned immediately. Also, all busineses will be supported with professional services during electronic transaction with social security agencies.

To improve the business environment and national competitiveness, Vietnam Government has issued resolutions, notices on cut administrative processes and procedures. Accordingly, the time spent on the implementation of the administrative processes related to submitting social security forms has decreased from 335 hours/year to 216 hours per year (which has decreased 119 hours) in 2014 and Vietnam Social Security will continue to reduce the time spent on submitting social security forms down to 108 hours (decreasing more 108 hours).

Thus, 50% of the hours will be reduced as required by the government. However, in order to promote and do better the reform of administrative procedures in a maximum effective way, Vietnam Social Security will focus on deploying the application of electronic social security services throughout this system.

Electronic social security platform helps participants to obtain the right tools to do social security process correctly as required by Vietnam Social Security; supporting with many automated functions to minimize errors in declaration process, minimize people’s traveling time working with social security offices, regardless of waiting time as in the past. This is the objective to reduce transaction time between businesses with social security agency by 49,5/year, equivalent to that of ASEAN countries and contributes to the development of digital economy in Vietnam.
