The small stamp set was introduced by Canada Post’s staff on issuing date

The issuing of stamp set with printed image of animal designations on the occasion of Lunar New Year festival carried out in recent years in Canada is a widely expected event. The stamp set this year was designed by a Vancouver based company Subplot Design Inc., based on the concept of artist Meimei Mao and photographer Raeff Miles.

Main colors of the two stamps are red and yellow, printed with the dog image and lovely red lanterns. Two stamp products have two different sizes. The smaller one (follow Canadian domestic stamp size) features a small dog walking eagerly, presented the spirit of readiness for New Year. While the bigger one (follow international stamp size) features a Canidae dog (a big, tall and noble dog) with one leg raising high to show willingness to join.
