Mr. Chu Quang Hao assumed the post of President & CEO of Vietnam Post

Chairman of the BoM Pham Anh Tuan awarded Decision on appointing Mr. Chu Quang Hao as President & CEO

Speaking at the Ceremony of Announcement of Decision on appointment of the President & CEO of Vietnam Post, Chairman of the BoM Pham Anh Tuan congratulated new President & CEO Chu Quang Hao on earning trust from the Ministry of Information & Communication, Central Businesses Bloc’s Party Committee; support, companion of the Executive Committee of the Party, the Board of Management, the Board of Directors and all units and labours across the network. Chairman of the BoM Pham Anh Tuan was confident that with the tradition of 70 years of Postal sector, the dynamic and gigantic development of Vietnam Post after 10 years of independent operation, with the power of youth, activeness and 20 years of experience in working, management in Postal sector, Mr. Chu Quang Hao would together with the team of Leaders of the Corporation, provincial and city Posts, subsidiary companies, associated companies fulfill excellently the assigned political task, driving Vietnam Post towards new height of development.

Chairman of the BoM Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that, on the very first day of new year 2018, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed the promulgation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP CP on major tasks and solutions guiding and directing the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and State budget estimate in 2018, in which Vietnam Post should initiatively implement many tasks. Particularly, the strong enhancement of administrative reform, building E-Government for serving people shall be attached with the arrangement and organization of a streamlined and effective machinery. Accordingly, in 2018, Vietnam Post shall drastically implement Decision No. 45/2016/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister receipt of applications and release of administrative results via public postal services.

Chairman of the BoM Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that with the operation of the new Board of Leaders, together with the determination and unanimity of over 42,000 labours across the network, Vietnam Post would exceed the Corporation’s revenue of VND 22,023 billion; profit would reach me than VND 400 billion in 2018.

Speaking about new assignment, President & CEO of Vietnam Post Chu Quang Hao shared that he felt very proud to be working in the House of Post. With new responsibility, President & CEO Chu Quang Hao committed that he would devote all his fervour and capability to accomplish the assigned task. President & CEO would always be a good sample, side by side with the team of Leaders of the Corporation and over 42,000 labours across the network, determined to drive Vietnam Post towards the top national postal enterprise in the region and in the world. In the next stage, Vietnam Post will play a deeper and wider role in the implementation of 03 business pillars. Besides, the Corporation will continue to focus on services quality improvement all over the network; asserting its top leading position among postal enterprises in Vietnam. At the same time, the business shall be organized reasonably, new products and services shall be developed, operation process shall be improved to enhance business capacity and the effectiveness of the network. In particular, Vietnam Post shall focus on the implementation of public administraitve services in order to always be the prolonged arm, the face and a part of the Government’s organic authority.

Also at the Ceremony, President & CEO Chu Quang Hao insisted on the entire Leaders and officers, workers across the network being united as one, correctly and sufficiently implement the direction of the Board of Management, the Board of Directors, moving forward the success of the Corporation’s targets in the period of 2018 – 2020 and view to 2030.
