The launching ceremony was broadcast online with 63 connections in provinces and cities; at the same time organized mobile propaganda with 708 parades, consulting and developing participants in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance nationwide with vehicles and motorbikes of Vietnam Post carrying health insurance messages. The ceremony was also held livestream on fanpage of 02 branches of Vietnam Post and Vietnam Social Insurance.

This year, the launching ceremony had the theme: "The whole country joins hands to implement universal social insurance and health insurance", attaching to the media messages about the position, role and human meaning of social insurance and health insurance policies; benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance, household health insurance, advocacy for the development of participants in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance. Thereby, conveying many meaningful messages.

Up to now, after nearly 6 years of implementing the amended Health Insurance Law, the organization of implementation of the health insurance policy has achieved remarkable results. Currently, the proportion of health insurance coverage in our country has reached nearly 90% of the population; The number of people participating in health insurance has increased rapidly over the years, an average increase of 48% per year, from 2015-2019 increased by more than 15 million people, by the end of 2019, there were 85,636 million people participating in health insurance, of which the coverage area focus on disadvantaged groups.

Currently, the system of agents collecting social insurance and health insurance and the network of collaborators has been expanded, reaching each commune, ward and town, spread evenly to each village, hamlet and residential quarter, creating favorable conditions for people to receive social insurance. Access policies and participate in voluntary social insurance. Nationwide, there are over 12,400 social insurance and health insurance collection agencies with over 37,300 collection points and over 52,200 collection agents to ensure the timely and flexible delivery of voluntary social insurance participants. In which, Vietnam Post accounts for the largest number. Insurance agents of Vietnam Post are increasingly professional, modern and sustainable.

According to the assessment of Vietnam Social Security, with the participation of the Vietnam Post in the propaganda and advocacy to participate in social insurance as one of the agents collecting social insurance and health insurance of Vietnam Social Security continues to be promoted with more positive efficiency.

More than 1 month ago, on 23/5/2020, the Vietnam Social Security in collaboration with Vietnam Post held "The launching ceremony to respond to the month of mobilizing the social insurance of the whole people - Propaganda and mobilization of people. People participate in voluntary social insurance ”synchronously from the central to provincial and district levels nationwide. Right on the day of launching, there were over 20,700 participants. Vietnam Post has stepped up propaganda and campaigning measures, so in May 2020, the country developed 47,503 people, equaling the first 4 months of the year. In the first 6 months, Vietnam Post has developed 140,000 people participating in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance. This is a remarkable result in the development of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance of Vietnam Post in complicated conditions of Covid-19 epidemic.

Vietnam has set priority to develop 50,000 voluntary social insurance participants and 5,000 health insurance participants

In July 2020, Vietnam Post aims to develop 50,000 voluntary social insurance participants and 5,000 family health insurance participants. In order to achieve this goal, in the coming time, the Post and Social Security will strengthen the information and propaganda policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance, focusing on direct propaganda and advocacy to the positions, businesses, workers and people in many diverse and diverse forms, combining both traditional and social propaganda methods to raise awareness about the need, position, roles, meanings, benefits and obligations when participating in social insurance and health insurance for people to actively participate and voluntarily participate.

At the same time, it will continue to organize propaganda campaigns, launching ceremonies, to propagate and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance from now until the end of 2020.
