Vietnam – Cuba promotes cooperation in the field of Post and Telecommunication

Deputy Minister of Information and Communication of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung and Deputy Minister of Communication of Cuba Mr. Wilfredo Gonzalez Vidal signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The MoU serves to promote long-term and sustainable cooperation on the basis of equality, reciprocity, mutual benefit and in accordance with the laws and regulations of each country.

Specifically, the two sides shall encourage cooperation between agencies, organizations and enterprises of the two countries in the fields of post, telecommunication, industry, as well as IT application and network information security… As for the form of cooperation, the two sides agree to promote information sharing regarding policies, legal frameworks, cooperation in capacity building and training; additionally creating favor conditions for enterprises to implement cooperation project on trade and investment.
