Vietnam Post cooperated with Vietnam Airlines in multiple areas

President & CEO Pham Anh Tuan and President Duong Tri Thanh signed the Agreement of corporation between Vietnam Post and Vietnam Airlines
Under the terms of this Agreement, Vietnam Post shall expand the model of air ticket agency of Vietnam Airlines at its transaction point and at the same time, provide delivery and postal financial services for Vietnam Airlines. Vietnam Airlines, in return, committed to provide air ticket, plus mail and cargo delivery services for Vietnam Post. Vietnam Airlines shall also create favourable conditions for Vietnam Post to introduce Insurance services to its employees. The two enterprises shall also coordinate communicate and broadcast brands and products on the media and publication channel of each side.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Minh Hong highly appreciated the contents of cooperation between the two Corporations.
Speaking at the Ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Minh Hong highly appreciated the contents of cooperation between the two Corporations. The Deputy Minister emphasized that, with clear objectives and methods of cooperation, the two Parties should focus on exploiting their strength in products distribution as well as using each other’s services. The two Corporations both have a wide class of customers and practical services for a large portion of the population. Besides, Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Post are two large and essential enterprises of the economy. For this reason, the Deputy Minister believed that the cooperation between two enterprises shall certainly bring forth high operational performance in production and business. The Deputy Minister particularly emphasized on the implementation of Prime Minister's Decision on Postal network serving the Party’s bodies and State’s agencies. Accordingly, Vietnam Post has a very important task in the collection, transportation and delivery of postal items to secure the direction and administration of the Party’s bodies and State’s agencies and other documents of authorities, social and political organizations at all levels. The transportation of such parcels and mails was extremely requested in multiple aspects. Therefore, Vietnam Post chose Vietnam Airline to be its partner to provide this service and it would always be given priority with safe and confidential transportation by Vietnam Airline. Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong believed that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement shall further promote the quality of services of Vietnam Post for the Party’s bodies and State’s agencies. At the same time, it shall contribute significantly to the development of the two Corporations and the socio-economic development of the country.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh, Chairman of the Board of Director of Vietnam Airlines said: "With this cooperation, Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Post shall coordinate to create the collective strength of big enterprises in Vietnam, promoting economic performance of the State-owned Corporations. The Signing Ceremony shall mark the turning point and level-up our operation and bring about success in the near future for the two Corporations". Continuing the many years of cooperation in air ticket service, this Agreement shall strengthen the relationship between Vietnam Airlines and the Vietnam Post to a new development step, marking a comprehensive and long-term cooperation between the two Parties.
Right after the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement, Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam Post signed the Contract of Cargo transportation via air, marking the first step in realizing mutual agreement of the two Parties.
