It is advantages that banks don’t have. With such strong points, Vietnam Post will surely contribute to promote the development and connection among members of VNBA when it becomes a VNBA’s member and join in many common activities.

Being proud of the only postal enterprise as member of VNBA, Mr. Do Ngoc Binh – Chairman of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post strengthened that currently, Vietnam Post is the State-owned enterprise which was designated to provide public postal services, public newspaper distribution. Particularly, since the end of 2016, the Government has promulgated Decision No. 45/2016 on receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures through the public postal services. Accordingly, Vietnam Post continues to participate more deeply in administrative reform process of the whole country. As H.E. Deputy Minister Vu Duc Dam said at the Preliminary Conference of 01 year implementing this Decision, Vietnam Post is not only the “prolonged arm” of the State administrative organs to implement Stated administrative reform, but also prepared to be the “face” of the State to implement public administrative services.  For the first 10 months of 2017 only, Vietnam Post has delivered over 8 million of public administrative documents in many fields.

Chairman Do Ngoc Binh and Executive Vice President Chu Quang Hao received the Decision to join VNBA.

According to Chairman Đo Ngoc Binh, implementing  the UPU’s guidelines on the development of Financial Inclusion heading to a suitable and convenient financial service for individuals and organizations, especially for people in rural areas, in the recent years, Vietnam Post has always focused on implementing solutions to reach Financial Inclusion target. Moreover, Vietnam Post has signed MOUs with regional Posts on international money order such as Lao Post, Cambodia Post…

Although it is not a banking organization, the current volume of money transferred through Vietnam Post’s network is rather high, reaching VND 900 thousand billion each year. At present, headquarters of commercial banks are usually situated in the centers but rarely located in rural areas. To take advantage of Vietnam Post’s network, in the recent years Vietnam Post has cooperated with banks, organizations providing payment services to collect and pay cash in the areas where banks don’t have their branches, especially in communes and villages of rural areas. Especially, in spite of big money flow, Vietnam Post has not made serious mistakes in the recent years. Hundred thousand billions VND have been transferred exactly and safely through Vietnam Post.

Becoming a member of VNBA, Vietnam Post committed to participate actively in all activities of VNBA, contributing positively to the development of VNBA heading to be a prestigious and big organization in Vietnam and in the world.
