Vietnam Post postpones shipping outbound Corona-virus prevention medical items

Vietnam Post postpones collecting, accepting, transporting, delivering medial mask, sanitizers and medial gloves abroad.

This Circular instructs that Vietnam Post pauses collecting, accepting, transporting, delivering medical tools for Corona virus disease protection such as medial mask, sanitizers and medial gloves abroad in order to ensure sufficient supply of available medical materials and tools for the demand of residents from 1 February 2020.

Vietnam Post leaders also requests its subsidiaries to strictly follow these requirements and will punish severely if any subsidiary violates.

Earlier, Vietnam Post also issued instructions on the whole postal network to conduct Corona virus control and protection activities with a focus on protection efforts for customers, labors and residents; always paying positive attention to the complex progress of Corona virus infection situation. Accordingly, post office staff, postmen who are direct contact people with customers and residents and working with postal items in Corona virus infected areas are all equipped with medical masks and encouraged to wear masks at office to protect themselves from this disease; do exercises to improve health during and after working hours; wash hands frequently with soap; minimize ordering and accepting return personal belongings to prevent the infection from outside.
