Vietnam Post will involve deeper in the implementation of digital Government

Share at the Conference, Member of the Board of Management of Vietnam Post, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh said that 100% of public services deployed through the Post were carried out in accordance with the process, ensuring the time and quality as regulated. Typically, the payment of retirement pension, social security benefit are being implemented in 63 provinces, cities with total payment of about 11,200 billion (Vietnamese) dong/month; payment of social sponsoring for 03 million people in 58 provinces, cities with the amount of 1,200 billion dong/month; collection of traffic fines and return of licenses taken into police custody: 50,000 turns/month. Total traffic fines are about 55 billion dong/month…

Through public postal services implemented on Post Offices network, people will be able to save a lot of travel expense, waiting time. In addition, administrative authorities will also be able to reduce operation cost and pressure for the collecting and returning unit, creating favourable condition for officials to concentrate on professional work, increasing work’s effect to better serve customers. For Vietnam Post, the implementation of public postal services also contributes to the maximum operation and effective promotion of the postal network invested by the Government. 

Involving deeper in the implementation of digital Government, in the coming time, Vietnam Post will continue to enhance the investment in facilities for the network, ensuring post offices, commune cultural points to fully support people using services and utilities of the digital Government. Particularly, it will enhance the connection of information technologies systems between Ministries, authorities, regions to meet the demand of submitting dossiers, fees, receiving results via public postal service, serving the use of online public services level 3, 4 of individuals and organizations.
